A-Kon 2010

I decided to attend A-Kon just for the fun of it this year down in Dallas, Texas.

Instead of writing down what happened hour by hour, I opted to take the easy way and show everyone.

Due to college work and the distance to Dallas, I deemed it best to take a couple of friends down to the location of A-Kon and see what it was like all day Saturday and early morning Sunday.

Surprisingly, the registration line wasn’t that long.

A white mage standing next to a Chocobo. Alternatively, a giant chicken and an egg.

There was quite a crowd in the dealer’s room. Anyone could by tons of anime collectibles at a hefty price.

I attended several panels, from the Rise of the Webcomic to Making it as a Writer in the Comic Industry.

I also attended my first auction ever and won two items for $30.

OMG!!! GIANT TOAST!!!

Besides attending a couple of more panels and buying stuff, I retired to my hotel room @ 10:00 pm.

Since I had to travel back home and take a test, I went to A-Kon on Sunday only for four hours. Through all the browsing, I only bought one more thing before running out of cash, the Gold Digger CD-ROM V 2.0 from Antarctic Press. Check it out today @ http://www.antarctic-press.com/html/version_01/index.php.
